I’ve got a Hyundai Kona EV, I drove up to Central London two Sundays ago and parked for free opposite Westminster Abbey for 5 hours in a disabled spot. No congestion charge and I came back with 35% battery after 206 miles. I charged up over the next two nights on Octopus Go at 5p per kWh with renewable electricity. That meant that my round trip had cost me less than £2.50. No surprise then that I’m happy with EVs.
