My luggage compartment slide away thingy is in my attic and will be the only thing that’s still brand new when the car is returned, oh that and the two seats, number 6 and 7 that have never been used and kept folded away.
These things are such a pain for myself and its only my scooter in the boot anyway and with very dark back windows its hard to see into the car anyway.
That said getting stuff from a scrapyard is not a bad ideal, many do that to get a spare wheel plus tyre to avoid the tiresome, pardon the pun, tyre repair kits and compressor that we get these days.
