I’ve done the rare thing for me and went to a Ford dealership last Monday to look at this car and is very much on the same level as the Tiguan IMO.

I was looking at the full hybrid version as the PHEW is out of my reach AP wise and I would never recoup the money saved from buying less petrol to the larger AP but the hybrid version is also turning in some very good MPG results for a petrol.

The downside for myself is boot space where the Tiguan SWB model my scooter just fits in the boot and I mean just, but with the Kuga it was no go but only just so I’ve spent this week looking for a shorter scooter (the things we have to do?) and found one with the all important all round suspension that I think will just fit however with the Tiguan PHEW being release this week I’m now waiting to see what happens when Q4 is issued and if the Tiguan comes back.

Not holding up much hope of that so come October I will ask my local scooter supplier if I can borrow the model I’m looking at and take it to Ford and if the shoe fits that’s it for VW as far as I’m concerned, however that said the Kuga has a couple of areas I’m not at ease with and its a Devil I don’t know so would prefer the Devil I do know at VW so we shall see.
