Light cloud clearing to sunshine this morning – 18c.
Drove down to Southsea to have a bacon butty and a cuppa while watching the ferry crossing to Hayling Island. The largest flock of starlings I’ve seen in years were periodically murmerating over the water, which was a free entertainment.
Dropped into the Mini showroom on the way back and took a look at the Countryman. To be honest, I didn’t like it quite as much as I liked the Puma. It just didn’t give me that ‘silly grin’ feeling – not even in BRG. Now the 3dr Coopers did put that grin on my face – funner than a sack full of monkeys – but they’re no longer an option. Alas, my limboing days are over.
