im paraplegic and drive with hand controls. easy fitted and removed.
to qualify for vat relief the hand controls have to be fitted before the car hits the road.
i have brought 7 cars vat free no problem. one vauxhall, one porsche, five bmws.
when the vat relief was first introduced years ago people were buying with just a steering knob fitted but it is more vigorous now but hand controls at a few hundred pounds suffices..
