interesting; its something i would benefit from as my neck doesnt turn far now. the rear cross warning, camera etc all come in handy but a 360 would be good. Suppose altca is maybe the cheapest then. Anytime ive went to a VW dealer they have been decidedly uninterested around here. Best dealers ive had are Toyota, Skoda, Mazda. Seat place at time wasnt great but its gone now.

Our SEAT dealer was lovely, and the Ateca is great. There’s a but, though. It’s not a car for people with back problems, as it is quite “sporty” in the suspension. It’s a hoot to chuck into corners (as in, quite impressive grip and no leaning), for what it is – but while not uncomfortable, it’s.. firm.

It’s a right pain due to the limited models.  I used to have a countryman – the best car I ever owned but unfortunately the re-face of it made it impossible for me to get my legs in due to there being extra plastic trims by the footwell . That’s why I loved to the gla but now I need something at the same height and with the 360 camera with

The Tiguan is taller than the old GLA, i think you’d sit higher in that. Ateca and the 3008 should both be around the same level, though the 3008 has a pretty low (but small) steering wheel.

Other than that, can’t really tell – you’d definitely need to sit in both. But, as mentioned, the Ateca isn’t the cushiest ride – i don’t know if your injury is painful over bumps, if so, the Ateca isn’t for you i don’t think. The 3008 is definitely more comfy, but not as “engaging” to drive. Spec on the GT Premium is pretty impressive though, with FOCAL (i think) sound system and what not. And a PHEV on top, which to me is a big bonus.
