@Glos guy you are absolutely correct in that we pay for it, I guess the thing to bear in mind that while we do pay, a comparable lease on the size of car I need, with mileage of 20k (which we need) is considerably more.
Also, our Galaxy is currently almost into its 4th week at the dealer for an overheating fault, and the fact that I g0t a hire car that I really only have to worry about fuel for is a huge relief as I wouldn’t then need to fight for the dealer to provide a car (which they wouldn’t have been able to do on the Sunday as they were shut)
The scheme is an absolute life saver, ensuring I have a car available at all times if we have an emergency. We would have to have a 2nd hand car if the scheme didn’t exist, and that doesn’t offer the same peace of mind which we have absolutely needed.
