I know. Scary stuff. It’s getting so that living at low level near the coast, near a river or below a mountain, or even at the bottom of a largish hill after heavy rain, is to be at serious risk of flooding.
And it’s only going to get worse, not only because of Climate Change/Global Warming but because the 18 year long orbit of the Moon is about to enter the stage where it causes the highest tides, so sea and tidal river flooding will be feeling the effects of a ‘double whammy’:
