most current windshields reduce light by at least 20% so any tinting added will almost certainly break law as it has to have 75% light pass.
As said above if you have an accident and its found you were driving an ‘illegal’ vehicle then they wont pay out(if at all possible). Also cops, certainly up here test most cars the stop if they think its tinted
