You may be dodging a bullet of sorts. Myself and a few others are experiencing awful fuel consumption on the 1.5 DSG, so much so that I have a cancellation and have been allowed to change as a result. What to change to is the real question!
I really hope you find a workable solution in your case, finding a vehicle you’re happy with for 3 years seems rather difficult at the moment.
