I was in the same predicament. I placed a order for a Kona Ultimate on Monday to secure the £499 AP to collect early next week. I called every VW dealer in Scotland and north east England and none had any ID3 in stock or cancelled orders so would have to be a factory order with delivery expected November/December. I found the opposite with the Kona, I was offered 2 in pulse red and one in a bright blue colour and black which I went for. I am having to terminate my lease early so unable to wait and looking to change quickly. I researched both cars throughly and had extended test drives and for me the Kona trumps the ID3 in every area. For the AP it couldn’t be beat. Still a bargain at £999
