Had an Escort identical to this one geological ages ago. Paint colour itself was called Tuscan Bronze but was basically a decent beige. Roof lasted forever as did the car – 12 years and never broke down. It was a 1600 auto and couldn’t remove the skin from a wet custard. But as a London commuter, who needs it?
Anyway, with two-tone cars making a comeback – Mini, T-ROC et al, how long before they stick some sticky plastic on roof?
