Yup. Came across the VAG “auto-hold” thingey during recent test drive of a couple of VWs. “Another annoying gimmick”, I thought. For about two minutes. Thought I’d try it anyway. Was pretty quickly really frustrated that my current motor does not have it. Very useful. Bit like a no-click, buttonless, brain-free electric handbrake.
