Gary. The contract to buy the car is between Motability and the dealer. You cannot be held to account by the dealer if you decide not to go ahead with your lease from Motability. So they can’t ask money from you.
Agreed, and the contract that we agree to is with Motability Operations as well, not the dealer, so the dealer is merely acting as an agent and cannot hold customers to account financially as we never enter into a legally binding agreement with them.
