Just finished Grave Peril. Bit of a “Bang-Bang-Shoot-’em-up” as we used to term these things on a certain SciFi comic. All action, to the detriment of some really engaging characters. All you remember is likely to be to repeated dismemberment of vamp’s and the like. Too many characters clashing – two damsels in distress, three wicked stepmother types. Hope the next one improves. Shall start it soon after Baking Bad: A Cozy Mystery with Dragons by Kim Watt. Couldn’t resist the title and it was a cheapy from Amazon.
