thats what i used to do spend hours looking for a car with the right pedals, until i found out i could get pedal extensions
now i choose any car knowing i can drive it, the extensions feel like normal pedals and i had no problems using them although at first the accelerator pedal felt a little bit heavy but after 10 mins or so wen i had got used to it, it felt fine and ive had no trouble with the extension at all
