A touch of ‘Meh’ this morning, but it’s slowly winding up to a Big Blow from lunchtime onward – c.45mph gusts, though only a slight chance of rain.

Saw the squirrel chasing off pigeons up and down the big chestnut tree earlier on – perhaps that’s where her is, tucked into the ivy for cover.  Of course, pigeons aren’t a threat to her, but perhaps they might attract predators – going by the big pile of feathers and ‘bits’ in the neighbours back garden last week there’s certainly something sizeable around.  Could be buzzards up from the Downs, I suppose, but they usually only turn up when it’s warm and sunny, not wet and windy.
