Tharg il be honest, aside from the usual cress when I was a child I can’t recall growing much from seed at all. I done the strawberries last year from bare roots but they only took this year (which was expected) the cucumber, toms & “normal” variety of strawberries were pregrown from seed so I just had to plant them and I done the rest on a whim not knowing how they would turn out ? oh you live by the sea?
