Before I even consider a Test Drive

    1) Practicality: If the wheelchair doesn’t fit in the boot then it’s a non-starter.

    2) Looks: styling and colour.  A car that puts a big smile on my face just looking at it.  (Just don’t ask how I ended up with a dark grey Golf this time around!)

    3) 0 – 60: I don’t drive everywhere flat out, but I like to have decent acceleration when I need it.

When I like points 1 – 3 it’s time to get in the car, so

    4) Accessibility: If I can’t get in and out the rest is moot

    5) Comfort – Seats, wheel size and suspension.

As I continue to fall apart the priorities will change, no doubt, but this is what I look for at the moment.
