I guess the grant system got to keep an eye on things getting out of hand, however it’s sad people come away feeling it’s a waste of time, or upset..
I needed an auto transmission, heard of the grant, simply didn’t bother, ended up spending £1600 back pay from motabillty, after not working for over 2years I feel is a shame as auto transmission was a £1000 extra.
Didn’t bother ringing as I hate phone calls I find them difficult & become difficult myself during it, also they change you mind from the car you want to the car they want, to me that’s controlling, almost brain washing?.
I do realise though people will claim for a heated sun glasses holder if they could?
