Glos Guy I can confirm that there is no ’tilt’ seat function to the seat squab on the sport seats of the X1. However, it is quite possible that there is a ’tilt’ adjustment with the electric seat option. Maybe a BMW online ‘genius’ could clarify your question?
I noticed also that the ‘tyre noise’ issue has been raised again. As I previously mentioned tyre noise is 90% road surface induced. I have just changed my tyres on my X1 from Bridgestone to Michellin Primacy and I have not noticed any change in tyre noise whatsoever.
