not everyones cup of tea but i have to say my favourite royal. so sad to hear he has gone after a lifetime of service for his adopted country. had the privelage of meeting him a few times when i was in the army and politically correct he wasnt but a funny and knowledgable man he was. rip
Agreed , not everyone’s cup of tea, nevertheless a great servant of the UK.
We are all able to freely offer an opinion, and quite rightly so, thanks to people like Prince Philip, who put their lives on the line every day during the war, and since, to ensure this freedom, for the rest of us, and he has spent a lifetime of devotion and duty ,on our behalf!
He once said “It is a complete misconception that the Monarchy exists in the interest of the Monarch, it doesn’t, it exists in the interest of the people. If at any time a Nation decides that the system is unacceptable then it is up to them to change it!”
The vast majority of the Nation, support the Monarchy and the brilliant job the Queen and Prince Philip have done in promoting the UK, for us!
