    Intranicity, a great write-up, & I’m glad you managed to make good use of that private road to test the car on thoroughly. It seems that once we drive these EVs we can’t imagine returning to the fossils, I think it’s the way the EVs accelerate, it’s horribly addictive simply dropping it into sports mode just before a roundabout & simply powering out & ending up at least 5 cars ahead of where you were, no gear changes, just relentless acceleration. As an aside, Nissan juts dropped the price of the Leaf 62kWh e+ Tekna to £32,445, a drop of £5265 to bring it under that £35k cap for the EV grant, I’m hoping that the other EV manufacturers will also drop their prices & keep their EVs on the scheme.

    One advantage of flying, I have access to an airfield, I’d not be trying those speeds on public roads 🙂

    I think the biggest advantage I’ve noticed is the instant power, not even having to wait for kickdown to kick in, it is addictive!
