Hello Chris. Firstly, glad to hear your handover went well, Matthew certainly has his hands full being the only salesman for Seat on site, and not being Motability trained. Talk about being thrown in the deep end!

I have to agree with you, coming from a Skoda you can feel the interior quality is a slight step down. Not so much in the front, but further back, especially in the boot where it does feel cheap.   Sorry to hear you’ve got lane assist problems, on our journey back on the M25 I was desperately trying how to switch the thing off! Trying to remember to indicate every time you changed lanes was a real pain in the a**e.    I hope you get it repaired quickly. I was very surprised to hear that the Excellence Lux didn’t have electric drivers seat, I know it’s standard on the Tarraco Lux. Very strange

Driving wise, on the journey back I found the steering light and a bit fidgety  at first but it seemed to firm up nearer home. Now I’m not to sure if it was the car, or just me getting use to it.  3 years in the comfort focused Skoda’s to the sportier type Seat’s might have come as a shock to our driving minds!!

After a couple of drives I’m warming to it as I get to know it better, I especial like the gear change paddles on the steering wheel.
