Recently had my pip phone assessment after my current claim was extended for 6 months.
the phone call was just over an hour long in which I recorded the whole call on my iPad as had read that people regretted not doing so and wasn’t told not too before hand.
asked for the report about a week after the assessment and when it arrived I went through it and they suggested I have enhanced daily living and no mobility. I was currently on high rate care and standard mobility.
anyway long story short I was expecting a fight and was gathering evidence from my doctors ready to take it to MR and possibly tribunal when to my shock I opened the post this morning and noticed they had gone against the report and given me enhanced for both of them. Also the assessment report recommended that the claim be for only 18months but they awarded it for 3 years again.
to anyone waiting on results try not overthink it but be prepared. Am so chuffed that I don’t have to fight it and also over the moon they decided to give me enhanced mobility even tho in the report they suggested I didn’t get any!
