I really do hope that you are right, fwippers. The choice of cars constantly falls as does the amount of bhp – everything now well under the (ICE) 200bhp limit, and falling. The Daily Mail continues to work hard behind the scenes to achieve this; if it sees that the EVs entering scheme are packing Ferrari-levels of power, 200+bhp, then it will change tack. It will stop trying to make all Motability cars boring and just shut the scheme down!
