I think the thing to remember here is that as cars like the ID3 become more popular as we move towards an ICE ban in the EU, Volkswagen will switch model production between factories – or indeed, build new factories as demand soars whilst their petrol car orders decrease month by month – year by year. In the shorter term, we’ll probably only have to wait a matter of weeks for delivery – they’ll be making that many!
