I’d love a lightweight folding motability scooter that would go in my boot that’s easy to fold would do at least 5 miles on a charge for my local country park one mile away and won’t break the bank ? Any advice most welcome thankyou
as you cant have both on the scheme, im assuming your meaning Mobility and not Motability as stated. looking at Motability scooters would imply you’ve decided not continue with a car through the scheme, unless your partner is also eligible and your looking to combine the two.
assuming your looking to private purchase/rent it may sound silly but actually using the Motability website is a good way of researching them. https://www.motability.co.uk/ searching the Motability site and clicking on the “search for scooters and powered wheelchairs” then narrow down the criteria, you can then get info on and compare the ones that suits, info on power/mileage etc once you’ve compared and decided which ones are suitable then click on the” find a local dealer” you may find they have returned/reconditioned stock. buying/leasing through them may be a bit more expensive than other routes but they are more likely to help you with servicing/replacement parts and repairs buying through them.
