I drive for a living and regularly make errors of judgement. However I also regularly see drivers who quite simply should not be on the road. I have two daughters who drive and although I dont have a dash cam at the moment I would not only be delighted to report the idiot fringe to the police but I would also deem it my duty to do so.
In all honesty if I were driving like an idiot I hope someone would report me as well. I would just ask those who feel that it is somehow “snitching” to report someone driving badly, what if that bad driver went on to badly injure or even kill a close member of your family or close friend? Would you really be so forgiving, because I know I would’nt.
No one is perfect but bad drivers cause accidents as well as stressing out other drivers. It’s not about being perfect as some have alluded to, it is about being safe and respecting all other road users.
