I went to work in Milton Keynes when I was a teenager on the M1 I think, our lab was next to the concrete cows. First day there the guys askem if I wanted a McDonald’s, “what’s that” I said and they all fell about laughing. There were no mcds in Scotland at that time, just wimpeys.
Anyway we headed to the shop and I tasted my first mcds and it was brilliant, unfortunately they don’t taste the same to me anymore so I don’t eat them anymore.
