Hi Brydo, having spent 35 years as an airline and executive jet pilot, I can only hope that these drones will be fully autonomous and not in the hands of amateur and criminal idiots such as those that closed Gatwick for 2 days, ruining 10000s of people’s holidays etc. Flying cars ok providing the pilot has a ppl, medical and full technical and flying training on type. Perhaps the flying bit will be autonomous only. See Amazon is doing a lot of work on drone deliveries.
I still fly GA, I hope these things are purely limited to built up areas, below 1000ft and keep out of class G. Can only see them being autonomous, but expect they’ll have safety pilots initially
