I suppose that it just comes down to choice. Motability is an option (in my circumstances the best for me) there are other options out there. Some cheaper and some more expensive. Last time I looked no one was forcing anyone to sign up for Motability. As I say it suits me at the moment and there is no way that I would be buying a new car without it.
