When I was looking at EVs at the start of 2020 I looked at the french EVs, the BMW i3, and the Hyundai Ioniq in great detail, I was looking at the MG ZS EV right before the lockdown when dealers were being very cautious about offering test drives. Alas I never got to have a test drive in either the MG or the Renault Zoe as I’d intended, so both were excluded from my choices.
I could probably have lived with the MG ZS EV as the range is only a little less than the Pug e-2008 I ended up with & it was a lot cheaper, but I knew how the e-2008 would drive (very well) and couldn’t take the risk on the MG ZS EV leaving me unable to hobble around after driving.
Next time I renew I hope I can get to sit in & test drive all the cars on my shortlist.
