Give the grants team a call and they can process your application over the phone.
The grant is means tested. They will ask for proof of income/benefits.
They will ask what your needs (not wants) are in a vehicle.
In our case we needed a 7 seater so my 20 Yr old daughter (who is the claimant and doesn’t drive) wanted to be able to take freinds out with us on day trips, and also needed a big boot to hold my sons special needs buggy. And because of my Sciatica I also needed an automatic gearbox, electrically operated, heated and massage seats, for which I needed to get a note from my GP stating my diagnosis and to also confirm that these features would be beneficial to me as I’m the only driver in the house.
If the grant is approved they will give you a list of vehicles they think would be suitable that you have to choose from
