Gothitjulie that was interesting to read, I know we need to do all theses things to help the environment and I’m all for it , but there’s only so much one person can do , if we all do what we can great. There are various issues sometimes you can get so caught up in trying to do your bit for the environment, as you state the battery’s from wheelchairs the tyres from cars wheelchairs ect ., other things like carbon footprint (what ever that is ) , getting electric cars instead of fuel cars .
You can get so wrapped up with save the environment , ok where does it end don’t use a car or the wheelchair ..
It is more expensive to try and do the correct thing .
I would love an electric car (and there isn’t any on motability,)
where I stay to get to the house I need awd. I’d love solar panels to charge the car and energy for the house to save money ,I could go on , all these and more environmental freindly changes come at a much higher cost and it is very difficult to try and do these things if you don’t have a large amount of extra money to spare ,
if the government said we will give you all the the money to do all these things to save the environment I think more people would do it .
