Absolutely martinod, we are looking at a future where there are no taxi drivers, van drivers, long distance lorry drivers. We are also looking at a future where these vehicles follow the rules of the road. No vans up your backside, overtaking when it’s not safe to do so. Much cheaper taxi rides and no tips required lol.
It will mean many thousands of drivers out of work and that is a major concern, but we have been through similar situations when the pits closed and steel manufacturing was slashed. So hopefully other jobs will appear to fill the jobs gap that full autonomy will almost certainly bring.
