@alan1302 I know they removed the Peugeot, that’s why I was comparing it to the equivalent Vauxhall/Citroen. They are the same car except the Pug is the nicest of the 3, of the remaining 2 I would have the Citroen as the Vauxhall is ugly as hell and has just about the dullest grey plastic interior I have ever seen, I considered all 3 and after test driving them all the Pug was the nippiest with a more stable ride in the corners, the Citroen had the best seats for comfort along with a more supple ride and more of a relaxed acceleration curve, the Vauxhall was like a bad photocopy and seemed slower and somehow more wallowy in the bends but not a supple over the bumps, I managed to order my pug before it was removed (not before the AP had risen 12 hundred quid from it’s introduction) but I would have had the Citroen if that had gone, if it came to the Combo then I would have walked away.
As you find the Combo Life ugly maybe it is true that you can make a silk purse from a sows ear! LOL Just need a few bits of plastic here and there!
Interesting that you find the Pug the nippiest as all versions have the same engines/gearboxes etc – sounds more like the Combo Life was faulty in someway or a different engine/gearbox combination. I know I’d not want any of the ones under 130bhp. Which engine/gearbox/fuel did you go for?
