Glos Guy I agree, up until this time, the price we were quoted was high. However they quoted us £11,800 for our five year old xc60 with 40,000 miles on the clock and here on the west of Scotland dealer prices for same car we’re all over £14,000. I was tempted to buy it and sell it on but in the end I couldn’t be bothered.
Yes I agree, that does sound reasonable. Obviously you could have probably haggled a £14k car at a dealer down to £13k and it would have had a decent warranty, but hopefully they have learned their lesson as the prices that they have always quoted me have been laughable and they wouldn’t get £11,800 at an auction.
