Mind you, once she’s safely home and feeling better – then you can seriously consider kicking up an Official Stink. I don’t know how or to whom (seems the ‘official’ channels are not doing their job), but it definitely seems that something needs to be done. Just be sure you’ve got all your ducks lined up in a row first – dates and times of communications, who you spoke with, etc. I don’t suppose they ever gave you any useful paperwork or anything? (I bet they didn’t – covering themselves in case you, er, want to kick up a stink).
