Pleased to say that stopping the Ketamine and Fentanyl had the right effect. No more nightmares, terrors or hallucinations. Well, who would have thought it! If you stop giving a drug found to cause hallucinations and delirium, then the patient stops experiencing hallucinations and delirium? Who would ever imagine that could happen?
Have not spoken this a.m. but night before was free of horrors. She is, apparently, now allowed some solid food. This decision came from a nurse who said she spoke to a doctor about it. So, fingers remain crossed. Wait to hear what her choice from my menu will be.
