Again, thanks to all for wonderful support. Joss, I wish the PALS team at Worthless Hospital were any good. Sadly, from direct past experience with them the acronym there stands for Patients’ Anti-Litigation Squad. All they do is make sure no-one of hospital staff can take blame for anything. If you take a case out through PALS there, you will find that essential documents which would prove you case have “unfortunately been mislaid”, also find times and dates will change.
Finally managed to get a qualified doctor to see her. He discovered that she was being given Fentanyl and Ketamine. Both of which are potentially lethal to her – IF anyone had read her notes about chronic kidney condition and previous horrifying side effects – including hallucinations. The fact that it has taken two days of trauma to actually get a qualified doc to even LOOK at the problem says a great deal about the state of affairs at this hospital.
By the way, the rule about not being able to deliver to ward reception was a complete lie by the staff. I went to main front gate reception to leave package and they told me to deliver it to ward. I believe the ward staff do not want relatives to even catch a glimpse of their loved-ones. Just praying I can get her home in one piece.
