Georgie, hi. Weather grey, not too cold. Depressing – but that’s more to do with other stuff: afraid that Madam T is in hospital again which is why I’ve been absent here. Original condition recurred, just six weeks after first hit. Back to A&E by ambulance for another emergency op leaving another 30cm scar. Reacted badly to after effects of anaesthetic and murderous pain-killers. Now starting to improve but v difficult to cope with recovery when you weight next to nothing (now under six stone).
Praying that it does now recur again. Another op like this could be too much.
Have got through the second Cafael. Most entertaining. Also finished Moonflower Murders by Anthony Horowitz. A book within a book within a massive puzzle. Just enjoy anything Horowitz does, from ghosting Holmes to Foyle. Obviously not reading too much now. Trying to keep madam supplied with stuff and working our logistics of food delivery. Worthing hosp staff, inc consultants, say don’t eat from canteen, it’s crap and you’ll get food poisoning. Only allowed to deliver stuff to ward reception: no visiting allowed at all in any Sussex hospital.
