One thing that strikes me is you’re checking to see if the wheelchair will fit in the boot, if it does it will be a squeeze at best, what are you going to do about putting anything else in the boot once the chair is in there? Does the shopping go on top of the chair or on the boot floor (chair won’t fit higher up on top of shopping), anything else you need to put in the boot will either have to sit on top of the chair or go on the back seats!
Seems crazy to me to choose a vehicle that can only just accommodate the wheelchair and nothing else, maybe that’s just me but I would want to be able to use my car in all situations.
