Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is an old Republican pal of Trump and is being deployed to keep Trump’s ‘protestations’ in the public eye. It’s an old trick.
Paxton is claiming that officials in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin unlawfully changed voting laws because of the pandemic and contends that Texas voters were ‘harmed’ by those states’ alleged ‘violations of equal-protection laws’ – which is, at best, hypocritical because Texas has always strongly defended the Rights of every State to run its own elections.
If the Supreme Court has any sense it will toss it out as a ‘frivolous law suit’.
