The latest BP chargemaster (Now BP Pulse) 150kW chargers are installed in such a way that wheelchair users can’t use them (super short cables & high kerbing), so it’s surprising that Motability already deal with them, but then we are just an annoying customer to Motability.
Currently EV drivers are almost all calling for a single payment method, contactless payment, using debit or credit card, rather than all these different membership cards for each network plus the terrible apps. Strangely, in the old days, fossil fuels could be paid for using debit or credit cards.
Now, there’s another system out there, something called a Tesla can connect to a Tesla Supercharger without any of these payment/membership/app methods, the charger picks up the car’s ID & matches it to a Tesla account & bills that account directly. This method solved all the other problems with EV fuel payments & all of those annoying issues that went with them.
