I’d take a guess and say around 12-18 months before it would join the scheme but that is just my gut feeling and it’s not based on any fact at all.
I’m not absolutely desperate to have an EV but I do find them interesting. Much more interesting than any new ICE cars at the minute (reasonable ICE cars that is). I think I could make an EV fit my lifestyle with no problems at all but I still haven’t seen one where I thought yes I want that. This is why I’m keen on the id3 as I really like the look of it plus it’s similar in size to my current car.
EV technology is improving everyday so although there may not be anything that quite suits you today, there definitely will be in the future. I think there’s a Seat ev coming and probably a Skoda one too so they might be worth keeping an eye on. Not sure when they’re due out though.
