Hi Jon, I’ve had mine for nearly 3 years now & covered around 42,000 miles. The car is with the automatic gearbox. Generally it’s a nice smooth drive and the gearbox changes gears effortlessly. The power is enough for day to day driving but certainly don’t expect to be overtaking quickly without a loud growl as it’s not very quick from 60-80mph. Another thing is reliability, I can’t be certain it’s all 116ds or I got the unlucky one but my car is back at the dealership every month for recurrent problems! It feels like I’ve been in more hire cars than I’ve been in my own! From electronic problems to brake issues. These issues have been going on since the car was 2 weeks old and still haven’t been resolved by the dealership, now the car is towards the end of its contract. I really do feel sorry for the next owner who won’t be covered by manufacturers warranty!
