I don’t see myself as that wigwam I just think religion should be handled in a similar way to gender and racism. Its definitely OK to discuss them, in fact imperative, but, as with these other subjects, you should measure what you say carefully.
In the past jokes about gay or people of colour where commonplace, expected and encouraged but that time has past.
I don’t think its reasonable to suggest you can say what you like without being challenged.
