I too drive a Leon FR 67plate at present and I find the sound system rubbish so if it’s bad in the New First addition then that is not good.
The Seat Leon in general is a car that just does everything you need, not particularly exciting or fun, it just goes. I saw the new one when my car went for MOT but couldn’t get inside it due to covid.
The only reason to go for a Leon rather than golf is if you prefer the looks or want more bang for your buck
