If the AP were to drop “dramatically” as you say then it should not be a problem for the dealer to cancel the car and reorder as it’s no skin of the dealers nose as AP’s are between the manufacturer and Motability.
That said, it wouldn’t surprise me if some dealers cancelled and reordered anyway and pocketed the difference, oh no, the cynic in me strikes again.?
